Three Months with Abbie
It is really pretty amazing the changes that have taken place! Abbie has grown 1.5 inches and gained 1 pound. I realize that isn't much but the change in her body composition is what is most noticeable. She has really leaned out and her posture is dramatically improved as is her balance and coordination. She can actually run now. Not very fast but considering she could barely walk when we first met her it is quite an improvement. She can sleep through the night in her room with her sisters. When we first got home she would stand outside of the door and refuse to go in. Now she loves her blanket and likes most dolls. She does need a period of time to realize they are okay, but then she plays with them and doesn't cry when she sees one. The attachment seems to be going very well and she loves kisses and hugs from all of us and misses her big brothers terribly when they go back to school. I have also been astonished at how well her language has come along. She understands everything and has been speaking in sentences for a long time already. Everyone who meets her is also impressed. We are blessed!

More Good News!
After spending three days over the last week and a half at Comer having tests done, we have nothing but good news. Well, she does need to have surgery but it should be pretty minor and we just need to do it in the next six months. Her asd has indeed closed and all of her internal organs are complete and where they should be. Hooray! The tests also show that her defect that was repaired in China was quite minor so she has an excellent prognosis for bowel and bladder control!
