Well yesterday I sent the birthdate and special need of a little girl to my China coordinator. Fully expecting to receive an e-mail saying her needs were too severe I was surprised when the phone rang around noon and it was our agency. Beth told me she had looked at the file and it looked good to her and she thought we should let her lock it for us. I listened to all she said and agreed to let her. The e-mail of her file came later after she was able to lock it for us. This girl has a condition we were open to that may of may not require another surgery and one condition that seems to have resolved itself. The file is somewhat old so even though we did send in LOI we asked for an update and look forward to receiving it. She is in Shanghai in what is apparently the premier orphanage in China. What we are hoping to hear in the update is that she is growing and speaking well. She was very small at 3.5 and only saying a couple of words. I have found a red thread and that is she was added to the shared list on June 22, 2010 - the same day we finalized her little sister's adoption in China! By the way her name will be Abigail Faith Lindi.
