Change in Plans

Out of the blue yesterday I received an e-mail with the invoice for the dossier fee. Since that was not supposed to be sent until our home study was approved and as far as I know it isn't even at our agency yet, I questioned why the invoice was sent to me. In the course of several e-mails I discover that they decided to go ahead and send out dossier copy to China by itself hoping that they will start to process it without the other documents. Apparently one of the other families who are using the special focus program still have a valid USCIS clearance so even though we don't we are both experiments for this new process. It feels a little like being in a petri dish but I can say that as of Friday we will be DCTC! Now come on home study!!!!!!!! So supposedly we get a new LID but without the other documents I'm not sure when.
