One Step at a Time

Woke up to a text and two e-mails that USCIS has received our application. This was followed shortly by our check clearing at the bank! I've been speaking with our insurance network with the hope that we will receive no hassle from them when we want to take Abigail to Cincinnati for treatment, but no such luck. They found a doctor in Chicago who treats her special need so we'll probably have to go that route first. This is probably fine as long as she doesn't need her surgery redone, but I have heard too many stories about doctors elsewhere who are good at initial surgery but not so good at fixing a messed up surgery done years ago.
