Looking Ahead

The latest I hear from our agency is that the only possibility of travel in September is the 16th and we have a slight chance of making it. Most likely we will travel on October 7th. If that is the case it means we will miss Abbie's 5th birthday and also be in China for Ella's 3rd birthday. While I am not thrilled about this I know it is out of my hands and we will look on the bright side. I believe that Shanghai Children's Welfare Institute does celebrate birthdays with the children and I also know that if we celebrate Ella's birthday a couple of days early she won't mind. October is my favorite month so who am I to complain. Perhaps Guangzhou will be bearable at least!
