Looking Like October

I received an e-mail from our travel guy. My first thought was : why is he contacting me? Surprisingly he wanted to touch bases and update me on our possibility of traveling in September. This is definitely a change from the last two times when we had very little contact from him and he didn't seem to pay much attention when we had requests. In a nutshell : they do not have our travel approval yet and even if they do receive it soon the consulate appointments are already booking for the last week of September. Holt usually schedules Tuesday appointments but the group they've put together so far were given Wednesday appointments. Also, the Labor Day holiday means the consulate will be closed so we may not find out our dates until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week which will make Chris' Colorado trip more difficult to squeeze in. I'm not really sure what to do at this point other than hope our travel approval comes in the next two days?!
