Tracy took us on a lovely tour of the Yuyuan Gardens. It was once a private garden owned by a prominent family in imperial times. The structures are very ornate and many of the interiors have intricate work carvings in the structural members as well as the furnishings.
The grounds have many beautiful flowers and a wide variety of trees of all sizes. There are several koi ponds and rock formations (hilariously translated as "rockery") abound. Here are a few of the pictures.
